150 words: The invisible power of decision making post crisis (2)

In no more than a 150 words:

After crisis is the right time to move forward to make cities more green meaning more sustainable. People who have lower voice and are struggling to earn their basic rights are a key element to establish new methods of economic and social change since after crisis both governments and NGOs would be planning and implementing projects to help the ones in need, those plans and projects can actually be green and fulfill sustainable development conditions. For example: livelihood projects can depend on clean energy with recycling waste, as we can see in Aleppo, Syria, UNDP has launched a solid waste recycling project that helped providing 2,945 one month job opportunities and removing 36,207 tons of waste, allowing 16 neighborhoods to enjoy better and healthier environment. A small step like this here and there can actually help us reach the sustainable goal. What about women? Will see in the next blog!
